The Senior Professional Development Seminar is a class led by Dean Jeffrey Montague in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Temple University. Unlike other college classrooms, Senior Seminar develops professionalism everyday as it functions as a business in and out of the classroom for both Tourism and Hospitality Management and Sport and Recreation Management majors. The organization operates day to day as a learning and working community. Presidents, Vice Presidents, Chairs, and Committees all work hand in hand to produce events throughout the semester, raising money, doing philanthropic work, and mostly polishing the excellent seniors’ professionalism and skills as they depart from the classroom, enter the senior level internship, and pursue fulfilling careers.
