Obel Hernandez is the Budget and Finance Chair for Montague-Ridall & Associates at Temple University, where he studies Sport and Recreation Management. Obel’s career began with Walt Disney World Park and Resorts in Orlando, Florida, where he and his team processed over 2,500 transactions per day and accommodated over 10,000 guests per day with the world renowned Disney Guest Services. In 2009, Obel was a Project Coordinator for the World Masters Games in Sydney, Australia. In this role, Obel researched and collaborated with over seventy different sporting venues on logistics ranging in directions from the airport to facility signage. Obel has worked with a number of domestic professional sport organizations, which include the Houston Astros, Minnesota Twins, and the New York Mets. Obel is also an entrepreneur. In 2012, he and his father started the BEAN2BEAN, LLC coffee company, a wholesaler and retailer of coffee.
Genna Pyles is happy to be completing her senior year in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Since starting her college career at Temple, Genna has had the opportunity to pursue her love of traveling and hospitality by completing various internships in places such as Nantucket, Massachusetts and Kiawah Island, South Carolina. In the fall of her junior year, she also studied abroad in Rome, Italy, and enjoyed traveling around Europe. In the future, Genna sees herself working in the food and beverage industry as well as continuing to travel and see the world. A long-term goal of hers is to learn another language and to have another chance to live abroad.
