Emily Savinese is an energetic Tourism and Hospitality Management major whose friends describe her as adventurous and unabashedly unique. She enjoys reframing problems from a new perspective and feels most successful when she hears, “Wow, I never thought of it that way.” Throughout her time at STHM, she worked for Saxby’s Coffee and the Liacouras Center. She also took on a third job at Catering by Design for a semester, and she completed a rotational sales internship at The Hilton Philadelphia Airport. She also had the opportunity to spend a summer in Germany absorbing the language and culture. In a work setting, Emily values humor, cooperation, and ambition. She hopes to use her concentration in Hospitality Operations to share her passion for travel and the memorable experiences tourism creates with others.
Neoshie is infatuated with the idea of developing everlasting memories for individuals of different backgrounds. She is a Guest Services Representative for the Holiday Inn Express Midtown Philadelphia where she acquired the ability to turn mistakes into miracles in order to keep her guests happy. In addition, Neoshie interned at the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia in the Sales and Catering department. In an establishment where “ladies and gentlemen serve ladies and gentlemen”, Neoshie quickly adapted to the culture of elegance and very high standards. The events industry have always been Neoshie’s first love. She is currently serving her second term as the On Campus Co-Chair of Main Campus Program Board. She creates plans for, executes, and markets on-campus events for the diverse population of Temple University. As the President of the Temple University chapter of Meeting Professionals International, Neoshie is determined to give students more opportunities to network with professionals because she understands the mutual benefits of cultivating relationships.
Brandon Johnson is a senior Sport and Recreation Management major in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Temple University. He also has a General Business minor, is a member of the Temple University Honors Program, and is set to graduate in May of 2016. At Temple, he has become extremely involved both inside and outside of the classroom. Inside of the classroom, he is a Dean’s List student. He is the President of the Sport and Governance Association, which aims to inform its members about opportunities in the industry. Additionally, he is a Student Ambassador for the school and fulfills his role by working in the Dean’s Office. Outside of the classroom, Brandon has done internships with both Temple Football and the United States Olympic Committee. He has worked for Temple Basketball, Under Armour, and various recreational organizations around the Philadelphia area. Following graduation in May, Brandon is looking to pursue positions within collegiate or Olympic athletics.
Tierney Sadowl is a current senior attending Temple University pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sport and Recreation Management, and she is expected to graduate in May 2016. As an undergraduate, she has been involved in many organizations and events within the sport and recreation industry. Some of these include the Men’s and Women’s U.S. Open, Gener8tion Run Philly Style, Magee Rehabilitation Sullivan Classic Wheelchair Basketball Tournament, American Junior Golf Association, Dawn to Dusk Golf Marathon, Temple Owls Club Golf Outing, Girls Golf of Valley Forge, and Upper Dublin Golf and Fitness Club. Tierney completed her junior internship in the summer of 2015 with Philly Sport and Social. She planned, organized, and executed a large Field Day event for them and helped with day-to-day tasks and night leagues. She is still unclear with the exact route she wants to take, however, her pride and passion lies within the golf industry. She would love to have an opportunity to demonstration her love, knowledge, and personal experience with the game of golf.
