Jazznique Baker | Chair

Jazznique Baker is a Senior at Temple University in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management with a concentration in Marketing and Promotions. The Sport and Recreation Management program has allowed her to gain valuable industry experiences in the field of sport marketing design, collegiate athletics, recruitment and operations, coaching, administrative assistance, and social media marketing. Jazz is a former athlete for the Temple Women’s Gymnastics team; being apart of the team allowed her to developed skills in time management, teamwork, and perseverance. Her unyielding passion for the sport industry propels her desire to exceed expectation and set the new standard.

 

 

 


Julian McKenzie

Julian McKenzie

Julian McKenzie is currently a senior studying Sport and Recreation Management within in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Temple University. Julian has had industry experience working with the Philadelphia 76ers as a fan experience intern, the Philadelphia Freedom as an event management and operations intern, and working as a volunteer student worker for the recruiting department, for Temple University Football.  Julian’s attitude and dedication to the task, whatever that task might be, has evolved while at Temple. Julian believes he now presents a strong work ethic and credits this to all the opportunities and experiences which have been presented to him through the STHM program.

 

 

 

 


Sydney Peters

Sydney Peters

Sydney Peters is a senior at Temple University studying Tourism and Hospitality Management, and is graduating in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Her industry involvement and work experience to date includes summer and part-time employment in hotels, event groups and major arenas, as well as a full-time internship at the University of Pennsylvania’s Hospitality Services. Additionally, throughout the academic year, she works with the Event Staff at the Liacouras Center. Sydney is open to working in hotels or events to fulfill her senior internship requirements this spring. Upon graduation, Sydney hopes to secure a position working in the hotel industry.

 

 

 

 


Natalie Hague

Natalie Hague

Natalie is a senior studying Tourism and Hospitality Management at Temple University, and is expected to graduate in May of 2016. She discovered her passion for the hospitality industry while working in The Works in Wyomissing entertainment complex. She furthered her passion for working in marketing and sales at the Crowne Plaza Reading Hotel. Natalie is the Director of Events for the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management’s Event Planning Association. She hopes to further her career in revenue management or sales in a hotel, preferably in the Baltimore area.
