Ariel Grayson is a senior at Temple University’s School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Prior to attending Temple, Ariel served for two years in the Israeli Defense Force where as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Foreign Relations Unit, she planned events, conferences and delegations for high ranking foreign officials and delegations visiting Israel. In the Philadelphia area, Ariel has worked and volunteered at multiple nonprofits, hotels, and recreation centers. As an out-of-the-box thinker, Ariel’s strong work ethic and organizational skills have garnered opportunities for growth and accolades. Graduating in May 2016, Ariel plans on entering the events field.
David Bittner is a senior at Temple University in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management. He is a native of Girardville, Pennsylvania. As a sports management student, he has completed hundreds of industry hours at the college and professional levels. Outside of the classroom, David is involved with Sport and Governance Association at Temple. He has also volunteered his time at recreation centers throughout Philadelphia. After graduation, David sees himself working within a team operations department of a collegiate or professional organization.
Andrew Taylor was born in Northeast, Philadelphia, but raised in Glendora, NJ, which is 30 minutes Southeast of Temple. Andrew has transformed his love of sports into better identifying and understanding the business side of the industry, so he decided to make it his major. He is a senior in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management studying Sport and Recreation Management. He values his family and friends greatly because they are the backbone that allows him to accomplish his goals. His tenacity is without question as he finished the Broad Street 10 Miler Run without stopping in 1:37:00 on May 3rd, 2015. Andrew has worked for Temple Athletics Communications Department as an On Site Event Assistant for Temple Men’s and Women’s Basketball. Andrew’s skills in sales soared to new heights by assisting the Temple Owl Club in gaining 93 new Owl Club members in one day. Andrew’s ultimate goal is to own a Recreation Center and he feels with all the training STHM has given him, he will be able to meet his goal.
Ryan Gorecki is a senior at Temple University with a major in Sports Management and a concentration in Sport Promotion. Ryan transferred after spending his freshman year at Manhattan College, where he majored in Marketing. After graduating Temple, Ryan plans on moving to California to work for a professional hockey team, preferably the San Jose Sharks. He has interests in event management, as well as game day and player operations. Ryan enjoys going to the beach and listening to music to pass the time.
