Parker Schroeder is a senior at Temple University studying Tourism and Hospitality Management. Upon graduation in May, Parker hopes to utilize his 1,900 hours of hands-on experience from Stephen Starr Restaurant Group, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, and Marriott International in order to accomplish his ultimate career goals of working in revenue management. Given the extremely competitive nature of the discipline, Parker is willing to begin a career in sales & marketing which would allow him to learn the principles of revenue management.
Anh is from Vietnam and is currently a senior in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Temple University. She is studying Tourism and Hospitality Management with a concentration in Hospitality Operations. She has gained experience through volunteer work, jobs, and internships at industry-related companies and establishments. Serving people has given her a sense of appreciation for the hospitality industry, and would like to to pursue this career to make a meaningful contribution to her country’s hospitality industry in the future. It has been four years since Anh came to America to continue her education, and never once has she thought twice about her decision.
Caryn Mousley is currently a senior at Temple University. She is pursuing a degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management with a concentration in Destination Management. She was inspired to begin a career in this field by life-changing travel experiences, and this program has allowed her to acquire valuable insight into the workings of the Tourism and Travel Industry. She has achieved hands-on experience in the industry through her work with the Academy of Natural Sciences Museum and Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library and hopes to work with a Destination Management Organization or museum upon graduation.
Daniel Falcone is a senior at Temple University in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, planning to graduate in May of 2016 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport and Recreation Management. He has been involved with sports his whole life, whether he was participating or as a fan. During his time at Temple University, he has participated in student professional organizations as well as volunteered at multiple different sporting events. Daniel’s junior internship was at YSC Sports in Wayne, Pennsylvania, and mainly dealt with facility operations. After gaining some experience in the field, he was able to narrow down what he wanted to focus on in the industry. For his senior internship, Daniel hopes to work at a stadium dealing with event operations and facility management. He is excited to build his network, and can’t wait to see what the sport industry has to offer.
Polina Morilova is a senior at Temple University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Polina is a member of International Student Association, where she was an Executive Board member for two years and served as the Director of Student Events and the Secretary. Polina completed her Junior Internship with Philadelphia Hospitality Inc. as an Event Planning Intern. Polina has been a student worker at the Office of International Affairs at Temple University for the past two years, where she was given an opportunity to assist with various events organized for international students. Due to Polina’s active involvement into international community’s life at Temple University, she possesses a particular interest in exploring and working in the International Tourism segment. Upon graduation, Polina’s goal is to join a Destination Management Organization and contribute to development of international tourism through sales and marketing efforts on the international market.
