Dushyant Patel is currently a senior at Temple University in the School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management majoring in sport and recreation management with a minor in general business studies. Originally from Westchester, New York, Dushyant came to Temple wanting to experience what it is like living in a large city with a strong sports market. During the spring semester of his junior year, Dushyant completed his junior internship with the Temple Owl Club, working with athletics development. This past summer and currently through the fall semester, Dushyant is interning with the University of Pennsylvania football program, working operations and recruiting for the team. After being unsure about what sector of the sport industry he wants to work in for a better part of his college career, Dushyant discovered that he would like to work in the operations sector after his successful experience with the University of Pennsylvania football program. For his senior internship, Dushyant hopes to land an opportunity to continue to work operations in the sport industry, but this time on the professional side instead of collegiate. Ultimately after graduation, Dushyant hopes to stay on the east coast and be able to work in New York City. He can be characterized as a true team player as he always looks out for the good of those around him. In any work setting he is in, he will always put doing what is best and most successful for the group as a whole before himself. He hopes that having this kind of mentality in the sport industry will help him have a long and lasting career as a sport professional.
