Jack Jones, Chair


Jack Jones, from Audubon Pennsylvania, is a tourism and hospitality managent student with a minor in hospitality operations. Throughout his experience in the industry, Jack has mainly worked in food and beverage roles. For his junior internship, he was a back-of-house supervisor for Garces Events. In the future he wants to be a director of food and beverage for a similar company. Other areas of experience come from his time serving on Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International’s executive board. During his two years on the executive board he served as Finance Chair and Vice President of Professional Relations. In these roles, he managed the organization’s finances and events with the Greater Philadelphia chapter of the organization.

Dennis Jansen


Dennis Jansen comes from a small town in the center of the Keystone state, Muir, Pennsylvania. He is majoring in Sport and Recreation Management in Temple’s School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management.  In the spring semester of 2016, Dennis completed his junior internship as the Events and Operations Intern at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pennsylvania.  While not attending classes at Temple, Dennis likes to spend his free time watching sports, listening to country music, and travelling to different places across the United States.  In the future, Dennis hopes to follow his love for sports and his past experiences into a job in the college athletics industry.

Daniela Verduci


Daniela Verduci is a senior at Temple University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in sport and recreation management with a concentration of sport and recreation promotion. Daniela is from the outskirts of Philadelphia in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Ever since she was in high school she knew she wanted to work in sports. Daniela loves spending time with her friends and family every opportunity she can. She also enjoys attending sporting events and country concerts. Her past experiences with Temple Athletics, Philadelphia Flyers, Comcast-Spectacor, and the Philadelphia 76ers have shaped her as a professional in the sport and recreation industry. In addition to these experiences, she did her junior internship with Newtown Township Parks and Recreation. She is hoping to pursue a career in marketing or public relations with a professional organization preferably a hockey team but is always willing to try something new.
