Denisha Robinson, Chair
Denisha Robinson is a Philadelphia Native. Denisha attended Mastery Charter Thomas Campus for high school, where she became infatuated with the sports industry. In high school, Denisha participated in Girl’s Junior Varsity basketball and track and field. In addition to being a student-athlete, Denisha managed the Boys’ Varsity Basketball team. Denisha excelled through high school graduating with high honors and receiving a full academic scholarship to Temple University. While at Temple University, Denisha choose to study sport and recreation management with a concentration in event leadership because she knew that she was not destined to become a star professional athlete. In her sophomore year Denisha completed her junior internship with the newly titled 2016 World Champions Philadelphia Soul, Philadelphia’s premiere arena football team. Outside of her studies Denisha is a dedicated member of Temple University’s Black Student Union and is a founding member of the Society for Minorities in Sport. Bringing together her passion for her community and her passion for sport Ms. Robinson aspires to work in youth development and community engagement using sport as vehicle to positively engage inner city youth.
Born in York, Pa, Andrew Devlin is currently a senior in the sport and recreation management program at Temple University. He completed his junior internship at Drexel University within the athletic program’s marketing and ticketing department. He has also worked within the communications departments of Temple Athletics and the Philadelphia Flyers, as well as working as an operations supervisor for Aramark. Upon graduation, Andrew would like to get a job working in communications within professional sport, particularly the NBA or MLB. Outside of work and school, Andrew enjoys playing basketball, rooting on Philadelphia sports teams and listening to music.
Max Shulman-Hutter was born in White Plains, New York but spent most of his childhood in Yorktown, New York. He is a sport and recreation management major and did his junior internship with Lower Southampton Athletic Association as the director of basketball operations running their youth basketball leagues. Max’s interests are baseball, basketball, bocce, camping, marathoning shows on Netflix, yoga, and going to museums. In the future Max would like to work for a professional sports team with team operations with the hopes of becoming the General Manager for a professional baseball team. A fun fact about Max is that he is the Chief Bocce Officer (CBO) of United Social Sports in Philadelphia.
