Born and raised in Connecticut, Alexander is a twin and the youngest of four children. Growing up, Alex could be found playing any sport that would get him running around, laying the foundation for his passion of sport. He is currently a senior studying sport and recreation management with a concentration in governance and policy. Alex spent his Junior internship with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He was part of a group that worked home games coordinating on field promotions and fundraising for the organization through 50/50 raffles and games around the field. Alex’s experience also includes work as a 50/50 raffle seller for Flyers Charities during Philadelphia Flyers home games.
Michael is currently a senior in the School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management at Temple University majoring in sport and recreation management with a focus in governance and policy. Throughout Michael’s time at Temple University he was elected President of Phi Beta Lambda, a National Business Organization. Under Michael’s leadership, the club was able to raise money for the March of Dimes Foundation. With the help of Ford Motor Company, “PBL”, was able to successfully raise $6,000 for their cause. Michael completed his junior internship with The Wanamaker Entertainment Group as a sales associate to secondary sales. Michael plans on graduating in the Spring of 2017 and wants to further his education and attend Law School. Upon completing Law School, he wishes to enter the field of player representation and wealth management.
Libby is currently a senior at Temple University’s School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM). She is majoring in tourism and hospitality management and she has a concentration in event leadership. Libby successfully completed her junior internship during the summer of 2016 at the Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, Pennsylvania. During her time there, she worked closely with the Guest Services department as the Special Events Intern. She helped plan and execute multiple events that were hosted by the zoo. She has also volunteered at a handful of different locations and events throughout her college career. Libby plans to acquire another internship during the Spring Semester of 2017 in the Philadelphia area at an event planning company or a hotel. She will be graduating from STHM in the Spring of 2017. After graduation, she plans to turn her internship into a full-time job.
Alex is currently a Senior in the School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management at Temple University, majoring in sport and recreation management with a minor in general business studies. Alex completed her junior internship with the Reading Fightin’ Phils, assisting in game day operations. She plans to graduate in Spring 2017 and acquire a job planning and executing tournaments for youth sports leagues. Alex has played sports her entire life and would like to be a part of making the next generations’ sport experience as memorable as hers was.
Christopher is currently a senior at the School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management at Temple University majoring in tourism and hospitality management. He started his college career back in 2008 at Cabrini College but decided to change course, when he enlisted in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Chris spent a total of 6 years as a Combat Medic in the National Guard before officially separating. Once he decided to go back to complete his degree in 2013, he was accepted into Temple University. Chris has a strong interest in sales, and successfully completed his junior internship with The Warwick Hotel Rittenhouse Square as a Sales & Marketing Intern. He plans to graduate in the spring of 2017 and aims to continue his career in Sales within the Tourism and Hospitality Industry soon after.
JaCarl is currently a senior at the School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management at Temple University, majoring in sport and recreation management. JaCarl is interested in operations, events, and player personnel in the sports industry. He successfully completed his junior internship at Father Judge High School in Northeast Philadelphia. JaCarl plans to graduate in the spring of 2017 and anticipates on acquiring a job in the operations or events sector of the industry but is also open to an administrative or coaching position. He desires to gain continuous knowledge and exposure in the wide array of sports opportunities while ensuring that spectators and guests have a pleasant experience at every event that they attend.
