CEO Jeffrey Montague
Jeffrey Montague, Assistant Dean of Temple University’s School of Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM), has more than 20 years of administrative experience in higher education. A graduate of Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, Jeffrey went on to obtain a Master’s Degree at Temple before joining the administration/faculty.
He also founded and teaches several STHM Senior Seminar capstone classes, which are operated as an event-management business and have raised more than $100,000 for the Senior Seminar Endowed Scholarship Fund to aid STHM students in their senior internships. He also stays closely connected to STHM graduates, resulting in alumni support such as connecting current students to alumni with potential internship and career opportunities.
CEO Rick Ridall
Rick Ridall is the Director for the Center for Student Professional Development at the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management as well as an Assistant Professor in Sport and Recreation Management. Rick received his Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice from Temple University, and then later received his Master’s of Education in Sports and Recreation Management from Temple’s School of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
Rick has over 20 years of professional experience in the field of sport management with Comcast-Spectacor. He started his career as a Penthouse Suite Concierge Supervisor for the Philadelphia Eagles and Assistant Ticket Manager for the Philadelphia Flyers. To him, being confident in what you do and the work you do is just as important as succeeding in the classroom.
